Interpretation
At the live shows, especially the outdoor festivals, it would be common to see people lighting up joints (marijuana cigarettes) in the crowd. The sweet smell of the smoke would waft through the air just like the sweet sounds of the music. The music would carry you away mentally and emotionally, and the effects of the drug would highten that sensation. If you're with someone you love, on a beautiful day in the outdoors, listening to music, though, it doesn't take much because the euphoric feelings are already present just by being there together.
