Interpretation

Even if everyone else in the world sees you as a failure, a loyal and loving companion will amaze you by continuing to love and support you.

And still she treats me like a human. She says she'll still be there. I may not be a hero, but I'll be there, because I know she cares .

Every man wants to be a hero, but sometimes it just isn't meant to be. It feels like a weakness that will be unattractive. When a woman looks past your apparent weakness and instead sees something worthwhile in you, that's a woman who cares.

Apparently he was jealous, wanting to be her only one, but also wanting to satisfy her sexually, he crossed a line and fell into temptation and betrayal himself. A woman that can be forgiving in a situation like that is rare, indeed.

I guess that's the way it goes, the way that it goes, and nobody knows what compels her. She's seen my highs and lows and never let go. And when the world has turned its back on me, I won't have to feel alone, 'cause I know she cares.

It may be baffling to understand her motivations, but a woman that will stay by your side even when everyone else has rejected you means you will never be alone. That is priceless.
