Jet White

Jet White

Ooh, you're in a tight spot
Trying to take your best shot
You're in a deep mine
Looking for the sunshine

Aw, you're on the high ground
Trying to get the low-down
You're on the South Pole
Trying to find a black hole

Jet white
Standing in the black night
Staring at the moonlight
Steady as you go

Oh!
Jet white
Now you feel the cold bite
Now it doesn't taste right
But how are you to know
Oh, yeah

Ooh, you want a hot tip
Get yourself a hot line
You want a round trip
Get back in the bread line

Oh, you want a big bite
Get yourself a big knife
You want to live long
You get yourself a long life

Jet white
Standing in the black night
Staring at the moonlight
Steady as you go

Oh! Jet white
Now you feel the cold bite
Now it doesn't taste right
But how are you to know
Oh, When you need it
Ooh, you know you need it

Jet white
Standing in the black night
Staring at the moonlight
Steady as you go

Jet white
Now you feel the cold bite
Now it doesn't taste right
But how are you to know
Know, know, know, know, know, know?

Jet white!

Interpretation

With your back against the wall, you may need to resort to extreme measures to get where you want to be.  The lyrics and intense music evoke images of a spy thriller, perhaps a James Bond movie, as a way of making the point.
