Interpretation

Complacency can be a dangerous trap.  Especially in dangerous circumstances, but any time there is a lot on the line, there is a certain amount of healthy tension that is appropriate.  Imagine someone walking a tightrope who could die from one slip, or someone defusing a bomb.  There is no room for error, so you naturally feel the tension. Keep the tension on in whatever you do, and you can avoid the dangers of complacency.
