Interpretation

I'm lonely and need reassurance. I was in love, but she seemed crazy to me. I'm self medicating ("smoking mother nature into the dust") and have my priorities mixed-up ("praying to gods that are made out of rust").  I'm not sure what I want ("some day you'll find me fishing for the lock that fits with my key"". Maybe I'll head to Mexico and sit on the beach where I can be closer to heaven. Please help.
