Love (And Love Alone) [James Young Group featuring JY]

Love (And Love Alone)
Written by Glen Burtnik, Bob Burger

Love, and love alone
Love is all you need to know

And when you close your eyes
You still can see
And when you're trapped and afraid
You still are free
And don't you know that you have everything you need
If you're looking for hope
You're looking for peace

Love, and love alone
Mountain high and river low
Love, and love alone
Love is all you need to know

And when you fall asleep
You're still awake
And though you're laughing you know
Your heart could break
And you could say that you're looking for trust
You're looking for faith

Love, and love alone
Anywhere the four winds blow
Love, and love alone
Love is all you need to know

And at the end of the day, you're still alive
And when your strength is gone, you'll still survive
And all the words in the world, can't tell you why
If you're looking for truth, you're looking for peace

Interpretation

Love is all you need. With love, you can be free of fear, able to see more clearly, have hope and peace. Even when you laugh, you might fear heartbreak, so you look for trust, and what you really are seeking is faith. In the end, you can survive anything with love, and the truth you seek will lead to peace.

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, (and) self-control." (Galatians 5:22-23a)
