Agatha [The Falling Wallendas featuring Todd Sucherman]

Agatha
Written by Allen Keller and Scott Bennett

Agatha
Agatha
Agatha
Agatha

The faucet drips and time runs down the drain
Pull up the covers and pronounce myself dead again
At six o-clock she staggers up the stairs
Where there are shadows there must be light somewhere

Agatha
Agatha
Agatha
Agatha

To forget her I can only try
Kiss the glass and it tastes like lips of rye
I can still hear her slam the door
Or was it the sound of her head hitting the floor

Agatha
Agatha
Agatha
Agatha

Now I see
She was sent to me
A gift to me
Oh, Aggie are you still there
Reaching out
Reaching out for me

I'm alright now
I'm alright
I'm alright now
I'm alright
I'm alright now
I'm alright
I'm alright now
I'm alright
I'm alright now
I'm alright

Interpretation

I wait up all night for Agatha to come home. She finally comes in at 6:00 AM after a night how drinking. I try to forget but can't. I hear the door slam but then wonder if instead she fell and hit her head. I love her just want to be sure she's OK.
