Interpretation

Probably named for a girl they once knew, thinking of where she must be.  Everyone casts shadows in a literal sense but also can cast a shadow in the sense of spoiling a good situation for someone else.  People are getting married now. (What does it mean to roll up the slack like a rusty violin?)  Where did she go? She loves old ruins and might just be an archaeologist.
