Interpretation

To be bourgeois is to be a member of the bourgeoise, the upper middle class, often considered to be materialistic or even hedonistic. Too often, pop stars quickly become egotistical and lose sight of what may be their own more humble beginnings and the less affluent fans that make their opulent lifestyles possible.
