The talking heads put on their show
They got the answers, these pundits do
In ruby red and royal blue

Interpretation

The television pundits that stir up controversy and raise anxiety with their endless analysis of current events, coupled with the 24x7 news coverage is adding unnecessary anxiety to people's lives and contributing to increased political polarization and tribalism, all for the sake of attracting viewers that drive advertising revenue. In recent years Fake News has become an everyday word, and people don't know who they can trust.
