So, are you sorry for the things that you said?
What was the one that made you start to see red?
That turned you right into the maniac that can't slow down

Now they tell me that you're doubling down
And causing trouble now all over the town
And can anything ever satisfy you now?

Did they give you everything that you need?
All the saviors that you never could heed
And will anything ever satisfy you now?

So what is it that you're trying to be?
If not a menace to society
When there is nothing to protect you
From yourself right now

(Did they give you what you need?)
Did they give you everything that you need?
(Did you find a little peace?)
Will they help you find a little peace?
And can anything ever satisfy you now?

Sightings are everywhere
(Nobody seemed to know)
On the ground and in the air
(Where did you go?)
Still no-one seemed to care or even notice
(We never know)

Don't you think it's time to find a place
Where you can give yourself some kind of grace?
And can anything ever satisfy you?
Is there person that can ever show you how to?
Stop the maniac inside you that you can't slow down

No one else can stop the maniac
Can't slow down

Interpretation

Why are you so angry? You should apologize for the things you said. Instead, it seems that whatever has upset you is consuming you, and you are overreacting.  You're making a fool of yourself in public with what you're telling everyone and how you're behaving.  Are you getting what you need from the people you've turned to?  It seems that nothing and no one will ever be good enough for you. I keep hearing about this from other people, and it seems like you can't even forgive yourself.  Please slow down before it's too late.
